Theater-kid pop-punk menace — self-branded 'bubble-grunge' with a wink, Brooklyn duo energy engineered for glitter and mosh in equal parts.

Daisy Grenade is a Brooklyn-based duo formed by Keaton Whittaker and Dani Nigro, both of whom sing and play. They describe their music as "bubblegrunge", a term that captures the mix of bright pop-punk and power-pop melody with heavier, scrappier guitars and a theatrical streak in the performances and visual presentation.

Both members came to the band with backgrounds in musical theatre, which shows in the delivery and in the emphasis on character and staging. The group's output has largely taken the form of singles and short releases, and they have built much of their audience through online platforms and touring.
