Delta Heavy are a British drum and bass duo made up of Ben Hall and Simon James, who met at university and began producing together in the late 2000s. They became closely associated with Ram Records, the London label that has released much of their work.
Their productions favour melodic, heavily built intros and large, cleanly engineered drops, sitting at the more anthemic end of drum and bass rather than its rougher or more minimal corners. Alongside original material they have produced a number of remixes, and their DJ sets and live shows are geared toward larger rooms and outdoor stages. The pair have also worked at other tempos, with occasional excursions into house and other electronic styles.
