Feeder
Welsh alt-rock lifers with an unreasonable number of songs you'd recognise from British radio in the early 2000s — 'Buck Rogers' just the start.
Feeder formed in the mid-1990s around a core of Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose, with roots in Newport, south Wales. The band came up alongside British post-Britpop guitar acts but drew as much on American post-grunge and power pop, pairing loud, melodic guitar riffs with straightforward song structures. They became a regular presence on UK radio and television in the late 1990s and 2000s, and have continued releasing albums and touring across several decades and line-up changes.
