Decius is a London project built around acid house and other strains of hardware-driven dance music, with roots in the city's underground rock and club scenes — the group includes members connected to Fat White Family and Trashmouth Records, with Lias Saoudi on vocals. The music is built on 303-style basslines, drum machines and repetitive club structures, but delivered with a lewd, chant-heavy vocal presence closer to a band than a DJ set. Live, the material is performed as a group rather than mixed, which pushes the songs toward something rowdier and less predictable than the recordings.
