Palace are a London band led by singer and guitarist Leo Wyndham, who began releasing music in the mid-2010s. Their sound is guitar-based indie rock with a slow, spacious quality: reverb-heavy playing, restrained rhythms and vocal lines that often rise into falsetto. The debut album So Long Forever established the template, and subsequent records have kept the same broadly melancholic register while gradually widening the arrangements.
