TEED is Orlando Higginbottom, a British producer and singer who recorded and performed for years as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, a project associated early on with elaborate animal headdresses and costumes. He emerged from Oxford around the turn of the 2010s, working at the meeting point of house, UK garage and indie pop.
His records tend to pair club structures with sung melodies and his own vocals, favouring melodic, emotionally direct house over strictly functional dance music. He has also produced and collaborated with other artists, and has continued releasing under the shortened TEED name in recent years.
