ZelooperZ is a rapper from Detroit and a longtime member of Danny Brown's Bruiser Brigade. He is also a visual artist, and the connection between the two practices is often noted: his vocal approach is closer to mark-making than to conventional flow, swinging between a strangled yelp, a warped croon and a straight-ahead rap, sometimes within a single line. His records lean on off-kilter, bass-heavy production and unconventional song structures, and he has released a substantial run of albums and mixtapes both independently and through Bruiser Brigade Records.
