Monnom Black boss dealing in fast, industrial-edged techno with no soft landings — London-honed pressure that European warehouses treat as gospel.

Dax J is a British DJ and producer who came up through London's rave and drum and bass scenes before relocating to Berlin, where he has been based for much of his career. He runs the Monnom Black label, which has released most of his own output alongside records from other producers working in a similar register.

His productions favour fast tempos, distorted percussion and industrial textures, sitting at the harder end of contemporary techno, and his DJ sets are built around sustained intensity rather than obvious peaks. He has become a regular fixture in European club and warehouse settings where that style dominates.
