Noah Finn Adams was born on 18 August 1999 and raised in Ascot, England. His father introduced him to Nirvana, the Foo Fighters and the Prodigy, and the band Busted first made him want to pick up a guitar. As a teenager he became immersed in pop-punk and emo, following bands like My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil and Neck Deep.
He started out posting singing covers on Instagram before moving the material to a YouTube channel, Triggerwarningrat, in 2015. As the channel grew he began posting more personal vlog content, and in 2017 he used the platform to come out as transgender, documenting his transition including testosterone and top surgery updates.
His first original single, "Asthma Attack", released in 2018, dealt directly with being transgender and living a double life, known by his birth name at school while going by Noah online. He signed to Hopeless Records in November 2020, releasing the single "Life's A Bit" alongside the announcement.
NOAHFINNCE's music stays in the fast, melodic pop-punk tradition, with concise arrangements and lyrics that mix humour with frustration and self-examination. He records in the UK and has toured with bands from the wider pop-punk and rock scene, carrying over much of the audience that first found him online.
He came out as bisexual in 2020, was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021 and shared an autism diagnosis in 2024. His YouTube channel passed one million subscribers in January 2026, and his work remains closely identified with queer and trans listeners.
